Eric Pedro is the head instructor of the Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu program at AK Karate in Los Lunas. Eric Pedro BJJ is the team that trains there — kids, adults, and teammates who show up to work.

Eric Pedro BJJ is a local academy identity, not a slogan. People train together, compete under the same name, and take photos on the same mats.

Competition
At the 2024 Albuquerque Open (American Grappling Federation, November 2, 2024), Eric Pedro BJJ recorded a team silver.
Nick Gipson placed 2nd in Gi Male Blue Belt Masters Ultra Heavy. Ervin Halmayr competed Gi and No-Gi in White Belt Adult Light Feather.
